So I ended up going to Wumpskate tonight. As expected, Heather, Drew, and Bryant were there. It was pretty cool. There were some decent tunes and some cool people, nearly all of whom had known my aforementioned associates infinitely longer than I have. I think the phrase used was "cranky old Goth night." :) Anyway, I got my skate on and only fell 2.5 times, which isn't bad for being there for four hours (not that I actually skated for four hours, but still). So, quarter after midnight, I took off. As I tossed the Das Bunker flyer into my car, I figured I'd hit the Kitty and see if I could get there in time for a song.

Got there at 12:30 and got up almost immediately, since it was pretty dead. Wendy had me do Gett Off and Praying for Time, the former I do rarely and the latter I practically never do 'cause it's kind of a slow song. Despite myself, I was a little surprised that I remembered the song so well. I haven't heard it (much less sung it) in ages. Anyway the pump was primed, so I gotta see if there's karaoke at 66 tomorrow or on Thursday (since she couldn't seem to recall when I asked) so I can get down properly.

In other news, both of my Tony Cohan books are now here. Opium showed up last week and Native State arrived maybe ten hours ago.Of course, I'm still in the middle of The Effect of Living Backwards, so it'll be a while before I get to those. Hell, I still haven't gotten to Budayeen Nights, which I may prepare myself for by re-reading the Marid Audran triology first. This is probably the longest list of books I've ever had on deck. :)

Oh, and I cut my hair. I now vaguely resemble a Marine.

All right, time to watch Raw and get some sleep. Hopefully. everything'll go well tomorrow...
