And God Came Down on Christmas Day...

Mood:
off to bed

Woke up around 1600 on Christmas morning.

Everything is good these days
But all of my friends are dying
Davy may and Lisa may
But nobody else really wants to stay
Nobody else really wants to stay

Dragged myself out of bed to inspect what'd been going on. Saw a pile of wrapping paper and nothing else. Watched some TV. Got online for a bit.

I said
Open The Door
Open The Door I can't stay here anymore
Open The Door
Open The Door

Got The Salmon of Doubt.

Got the call. Got directions. Got clothes, food (re: jambalya). Made the drive.

Long drive.

Candle light the streets at night
Thinking you're wrong but you know that you're right
Thinking you're wrong but you know you're alright

Caught up with Rico and the twins during the last quarter of Rat Race. Ice cream. Two shots with the wild one and it was out the door.

I said
Open The Door
Open The Door I can't stay here anymore
Open The Door
Open The Door

First at The Block was Bad Santa. Pretty goddamned funny. Gonna have to see it again on cable, since I was laughing so much with the rest of the audience that some of the dialogue got drowned out.
Next was Big Fish. Ran out of money by this point, so I figured on just waltzing in. Worked like a charm. Originally, the kind of movie I'd see when it showed up on cable (or video) and enjoy. They almost got me, near the end, but I was on top of it.

Everything is good these days
But all of my friends are dying
Careful when you say goodbye
Careful stays and careless dies
But careless is and careful tries

Afterward, a chat, a plot, a well-wish. Short drive, modeling. Familiar pajamas. A goodnight.

Open The Door
Open The Door I can't stay here anymore
Open The Door
Open The Door

Open The Door
Open The Door I can't stay here anymore
Open The Door
Open The Door
