So this past Monday I made a historic trek down to OC, specifically Costa Mesa. The purpose of my visit? The beach. and I had plans to hit the beach ever since the non-existant wedding and it was time to get to it. I'd only made it to the beach once previously this year with and that only made me want to return more often. I've also been bitching about my lack of tan since I came back from BM.
I must say, I had an awesome time. We splashed about. swam around, and soaked up the sun. Additionally, I got clobbered by more than a few waves and suffered mightly from an overabundance of salt water in my mouth and eyes. It was enough to make me consider getting some damned goggles for the next time. The damage for all of this was pretty minimal; a very light burn on my shoulders and two earrings washed away. Well worth it, though.

Afterwards, it was an evening at Ground Control, courtesy of . I was a bit late, but it didn't seem to be a big deal. I got up and did my thing, though I couldn't tell you if anyone was particularly impressed. Overall, I hope it picks up steam, 'cause it's fun and I hope a larger group shows up this next Monday (hint, hint).

Tuesday was...ah, right. 66. That was fun. Dead, but fun. 'Cept for when Thor2 ruined a perfectly good song by making me crack up. We'll see who's laughing after he finds the scorpions in his car...

Wednesday, picked up more apps. Retrieved my cell phone from Catch One. Went to sleep early.

So early, in fact, that I woke up at around 9am today. Bewildered, I fucked around for an hour and then finally watched Godford Park for the first time. Decent. Clive Owen needs to hurry up and get famous already.

Don't know what the hell I'll do with myself this evening...
