You wouldn't be expecting good news with a header like that, but that's my poem, and it's getting published in Drash. Yeah! Here's their blurb:

Drash seeks the best in Jewish and Northwest fiction, essays, poetry, photography and art from emerging and established writers and artists. Writers do not need to be Jewish, nor do their submissions need to be overtly Jewish, or filled with dripping ferns.

No dripping ferns in my poem. And, now that I think of it, nothing Jewish in the poem either. This is their inaugural issue, so I can't vouch for the quality, but I'm assuming it's the same level I tend to hit—solid, respectable, regional publication.

I recently got several rejection letters (which, of course, is good news in disguise because it means I sent out), and I'm about to send out to three strong national journals. Feel free to nudge me to actually get them in the mail.
