Midnight's Children, Salman Rushdie I got this book meme from logisticslad, and I just couldn't resist because it's about books. I made over 50 which is frankly less than I thought I'd have, me being an avid reader and having a Master's in Literature. But I don't get this list. Why is The Clan of the Cave Bear on the same list as Brave New World? I mean, I like a good romance novel no problem, but those two just don't match up in importance. And why again, is there no poetry on the list? I want the top 100 most important books of poetry and how much of that list have I read. That's the list I need to read.
