The much beloved out-of-town relatives arrived today. Boy howdy did Rose and David love it. The relatives walked in the door and David started jumping up and down shouting "Thomas puzzle! Thomas puzzle!" He did happen to be jumping on his new Thomas the tank engine puzzle, but the energy and volume had nothing to do with toys and everything to do with actually seeing in person people you've been talking to on the phone for four months.

They reveled in the attention. They built all the new toys (hours of work), acted out stories, put on shows, snuggled, read, and agreed, that yes, they had gotten quite big. And the fun continues tomorrow.
