We seem to be done with the fever, barfing, lethargy and have moved on to the sore throat, achy, lethargy. We sent Rose to school Wednesday, and she just broke down at pick up. The Tylenol had obviously worn off. We made the right decision not to send her Thursday and Friday. She spent most of both days reading the Happy Hollisters. These are chapter books from the fifties about a family whose trouble du jour is finding some lost toys. I loved them. Rose loves them. They are just her level, and she read them for five hours straight.

It's hard to tell how sick David is because he always wants Tylenol. He's been complaining of an upset tummy but when he said his throat hurt, I let him have the medicine. Since it did seem to stop his temper tantrum and improve his mood for the next four hours, I'm saying correlation is good enough for me.

John has a sore throat and fatigue as well. I figure my days are numbered.
