About three days ago I ran out of ideas. No swim class, no drama camp, no hikes, the grandparents were out of town, the cousins were out of town. The big event for the day was bringing home made muffins to the new neighbors. Then we fought all the way home.

I am so so ready for school to start.

So, is Rose. She's been completely volatile the last few days. One minute she's very clingy and cuddly. She wants to curl up and have me read her books. The next minute she's whining, crying, and pouting about not being able to find her shoe.

David's doing slightly better except for the spitting and picking fights with his sister. He doesn't actually start school until next Monday, and even then it's three days a week. I suddenly realized Ariana will be in school, our neighbor Asher will be in school. What the heck are David and I going to do for 3.5 hours every afternoon?
