Another fun thing about the fair was bumping into so many people I knew. Seattle is still a small enough town that if you narrow your focus, i.e. events for families with children ages 3-10, there's a good chance you are going to know someone there. I was actually invited by one college friend and told another college friend about it. Bumped into neither of them. But, I did see friends from the Jewish community, two friends from high school (hi Sydney!), and a friend from the dancing community. David got a big hello from the childcare worker at the YMCA drop-off center where he occasionally goes while I work out, but he was feeling too shy to give her much love.
