We thought, Oh no! Lice! But we had all our friends, who are now lice experts, check her out, and so far the prognosis is clear. Then the bumps spread to her back, her legs, her arms, her scalp, and they were bugging her. We knew it was probably nothing, but since we can get same day appointments after school, why not get it checked out. Mites. The doctor said the red bumps, now larger and kind of angry looking, were not illness related. She showed us in the disgusting skin disease book how they matched the mites pattern. Rose has just been enjoying the spring weather, and the mites have been enjoying her. We hope they back off soon, and in the meantime, anti-itch cream to the rescue.
