We tripped merrily off to swim class today. I didn't even get worried like he's going to freak at the last minute. I knew he was not going to freak. We had cheerful discussions about whether his teacher was going to be a boy or girl. (Sort of a boy and a girl from David's report. That's because his male teacher has long hair. David is in a really annoying gender stratification stage--more on that another time.) He wondered if he would be able to stand. He had his suit on before we left the house. Oh, and while paying attention to the teacher and trying everything, he chatted away. I am not taking any of this for granted. I am too amazed over the change.
