I got a poem accepted at New Letters. Whoo hoo! And, it's a really long poem, probably 2-3 pages. So, they had some faith to let me take up that much space in their journal. It's been two years since I've had anything accepted. A long two years. I submitted this poem to 20 different journals. New Letters is a good journal that my mentor, Stuart Friebert recommended. I'm trying to only send to good or excellent journals. I was starting to think my new work wasn't working, so it's affirming to finally get one in. Forty-five more and a manuscript to go!
