The kindergarteners through third graders had their singing concert tonight. Rose promised us she would sing her heart out, and she did. And luckily, it was music I really like--This Land is Your Land, Circle Game, Let's Go Riding in the Car. . .old time folk music. It makes me very happy my music is being passed on to the next generation.

Last year I spent half the concert reading David books in the back of the room. This year he insisted on sitting in the back and constantly asked me what the next song was, but he did pay attention to the whole concert. I love these check points where I can see how he's changed.

In other news, he is almost healthy. I have the lingering cough which I assume will linger for months. John and Rose continue to be healthy.
