And even if it weren't Adar, the month that holds Purim, it would be a week chock full of celebrations.
Monday -- Pi Day
I envy those of you who actually ate pie. I just drooled over the photos in all my friends' facebook pages. We explained pi to Rose using a dinner plate and some asparagus I bit into the appropriate length. None of the other kids in the third grade new pi either. But when I mentioned it to our friend Nolan (age 9), he said pie or pi? He knew it from Scrabble. Nolan tested at the 8th grade level for math and reading. I see why.
Tuesday -- Uncle Dan's 40th Birthday
Whoohoo! Yeah Uncle Dan!
Wednesday -- Not a holiday
But, it is our regularly scheduled dinner with the cousins, and we needed to get ready for St. Patrick's Day, so everyone is currently downstairs making leprechaun catchers.
Thursday--St. Patrick's Day
Friday--The Star Wars exhibit at the Science Center
Sunday--Purim Carnival at Sunday School
