We had an interesting experience ice skating Friday (a no school day). David has been pretty anti-skating the last six months, so I was surprised he didn't put more of a fuss when we were planning it. (Actually, I was planning it with my sister and a friend.) He got right on the ice, and by the time I got down to the rink, he was going around . . .with Rose and Miriam. All the big girls helped him skate. He refused all help from me but did a good job maintaining his balance and working with them.
