Rose has already said "I'm bored" several times. David has thrown a temper tantrum.

However, Rose did my suggestion for boredom and bake chocolate chip cookies all by herself, for the first time ever. Well, she did have David crack the eggs. But she did the rest herself including moving cookies in and out of the oven and washing a pot or two.

For our exercise today, we danced around the house for 45 minutes. This went well for Rose, John, and I. It also precipitated David's temper tantrum. I told him he could run around the block in the pouring rain instead. I don't know what his problem was.

I ended up doing a lot of planning for this week, and fingers crossed it will take the edge off the craziness. I set up 4 play dates for David, and we are going ice skating twice. Oh, and of course there's Thanksgiving with the extended family.
