Oh are things going well in no choice dinner land. Of course, when "no choice" dinner is make your own omelets or put what you like on your quesadilla, we are cheating some, but they actually don't notice. The kids have just accepted that every other night you eat what is offered. I know, not too novel, but it is in our house. So far, we've had a ham and sausage night, the aforementioned omelets, French toast, broiled chicken, and chicken with crunchy bits. The chicken is our biggest hit. Six months ago, David would have paroxysms over having to try just the crunchy bits. Last night he cheered for the whole piece of chicken. I still want to make not kid friendly food like guacamole in roasted chilies, but I can do that for choice night.
