David is not actually sleeping over elsewhere, but his friend N. is spending the night here, and David is giddy with excitement. Three days ago he cleaned his room, so the boys could sleep on the floor together. Tidied and vacuumed.

The sleepover report:

They had a water fight (luckily outside and John I just threw the clothes in a dryer)
N. ate more pizza than David (This is the second time we've fed David's friends and they've eaten more than him. Important info to file away for future meal planning.)
They read Ook and Gluk to each other.
They played with their stuff lions, voicing them and racing them down the stairs.
They went to sleep at a reasonable time, and by that I mean 9:45 or so.
They did not fight over the fabulous Star Wars pancakes Daddy made: N. picked a Storm trooper, David had Darth Vader, which left Rose with Yoda.
David announced, a sleepover is like a never ending play date!
They had a blast.
