Everybody had a great time.

David's birthday party planning always creeps up on us. I was sending out invites, the day before we left for Ohio, and I hadn't confirmed a place yet. But, we figured out how many lanes, how much gluten free pizza (yes, this bowling alley made gluten free pizza!), and the party favor.

We had 16 kids bowling. That's a lot of eight year old boys. They did great. They spent their time between bowls crawling all over each other and managed to not take it badly when they didn't get a strike every time. Bumpers are everyone's friends.

David wants me to tell you that the bowling alley gave him a real bowling pin as a souvenir. The adults hung back, and when the kids were winding down, we got to bowl a little too.
