Last Thursday was Rose's third birthday celebration, if you happen to be counting. We believe in a lot of celebrating. We had eleven family members over for pizza (store bought), ice cream (store bought), hot fudge sauce (John made), and whipped cream (thank you John).

Rose’s family gifts had a nice balance of the serene, exciting, and expanding responsibility and maturity. I think she’s most excited about the unicycle.

Today, Dad and Barb took her out to the Queen Mary, a fancy British tea spot here in Seattle. She wore her new dress that we got for her to go a million Bat Mitzvahs this year, and she looked lovely.
