Folklife was filled with Norwegian dance clubs in their pretty aprons skipping about. Bumbershoot had quirky folk groups singing against nuclear war. Seattle is much more big name high production shows these days, but I feel The Moisture Festival still captures that sweet hokey we're just going to play our hearts out vibe. The Moisture Festival is a comedy variety show with bad jokes, good juggling, and kids doing aerial. My favorite act this year were the jump ropers. Seeing them move in unison was so beautiful. I also like how people mess up and make it work, a good lesson for my perfectionist kid.
