Anyone else seen this video/documentary/whatever making the rounds on YouTube? I first heard about it over the weekend - right after a stand-up showcase, interestingly - and checked it out yesterday.

On the official Dickie Cronkite Scale, the documentarian's points run the complete gamut - from "give me a fucking break what a fucking yoke maing" to "huh, now that's a really interesting fucking question."

"Quality ranges from piss-poor to ... very well done!

Anyhow, worth a look. If for no other reason than to flip off the Patriot Act.


Oh, and if you're wondering the best joke from the stand-up showcase, which surprisingly came from the relatively unfunny God's Country West-based emcee in between sets, commenting on the ridiculously insane heat and lack of moisture:

"The blowjobs out here must be terrible - you probably can't tell the difference from a handjob. ...C'mon ladies, prove me wrong." He then gave his hotel room number over at Zoso. Classic.

Since it's the middle of July, hit 122 on Saturday, and I'm starting to give way to a strange new hopeless delirium never experience before - not even during the horrific white fluffy stuff in Chi-town - that one struck a chord with the audience. Just a classic observation, during these troubled times.
