I've long thought that the way the democrats are choosing a presidential candidate is fairly stupid. They seem to be looking not for someone they believe in, but for someone who is "electable". Well, if they are really looking for someone who is electable and they don't care about his policies, why not just vote for Bush. He's very electable, and you'll hate his policies too.

Alternatively, you could vote for someone you believe in and support, and fight that fight. But that takes guts and self-belief, the same things that were so lacking when the democrats selected Gore-Lieberman last time around.
