Let me tell you a little bit about Michigan. An Indian word meaning land of crap, Michigan is a series of small towns or villages built on swampland, well the first one built sank into the swamp, but we rebuilt them, those sunk too, some eventually burned down fell over and sank into the swamp the result not unlike the scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, only not funny, is that we have fully functioning housing on top of the swamp but are forever still looking for available “huuuge…tracts of laand…”

But I digress

Everything that is dull and grey and sooty and not nice originates in Flint.
Flint you say? not Detroit?

Quiet you. Yes Flint.

Smokestacks and car pollution and blight, oh the blight! Flint creates them all, (that’s actually their main export, but luckily the manufacturing standards are so low on producing blight that it hardly harms anyone outside the State.)

And don’t forget the crime

Now, I’m not so paranoid as to be worried about large dangerous cities and to assume that every stranger is out rob me or something, after all I’m trusting enough to use my real name for this blog right?, but Flint’s crime levels are of East St Louis proportions! The show Cops has a permanent base there. If you meet a Detroiter, you may clutch your wallet and back away from them, but if they said they were from Flint you’d throw it at them and run, screaming in panic. My girlfriend is from around there; that was our first date, it was cheaper than taking her out, oh! the memories…

OK its not all that bad.
