Hoegaarden (the first one)
Is a cloudy, unfiltered Belgian white first brewed over 500 years ago. It’s yeasty and citrusy but not too sweet. It’s got kind of an effervescence freshness that stays with you, almost like a breath mint. It’s unfiltered but it doesn’t seem to have a lot of sediment in it. Celis White tastes a lot like this if you’re looking for an American imitator.

Rogue Brewing Company, Morimoto Hazelnut Ale.
Hey, Chef Morimoto from Iron Chef has his own line of beers from Rogue. This one is great, dark color and strong hazelnut flavor. It’s very thick and creamy like some kind of beer and hazelnut ice cream shake. Easy to drink, fresh, and not too acrid like some micro brews.
