2002-02-11 9:16 AM Somebody Please Kill Me Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Half-Dead I hate Mondays. With a passion I hate Mondays. Hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them!!!!! I'm at school. In the lab. Wanting to die. Wanting to sleep. Struggling to stay awake. I got here at 8 this morning and I'll be here until 8:30 tonight. The whole time praying for death, or for 8:30 to come around so I can go home. I'm tired (the cats kept me awake most of the night), I'm sick (still have that cold), and I haven't read for some of my classes today. Looks like I'll be doing reading on my afternoon breaks. I just can't deal with it now.
On the work front things are going really crappy for me. Okay, so I did this whole law school thing so that I actually could get a job. What a joke. No place has hired me yet for this summer. I need a clerkship and I need one fast. I'd ideally like to get paid for it since I have a wedding and a honeymoon coming up, but I'm willing to work for free. Know any attorneys, judges, or law firms? Hook me up with a summer clerkship and I'll worship you for all eternity. On the bright side, my weekend was fun. Friday night Rob and I went to the Boarder's on Ventura Blvd. I got two CDs there. One is the greatest hits of the Bee Gee's and the other is Creed. Saturday night Rob, Berek, and I went to the Santa Monica Promenade. Grabbed dinner and walked around. Looked in some stores. I've been trying to find a perfume that smells like Patchouli since Madonna's "Like A Prayer" album came out way back when and I finally found some at Sephoria. It's called Angel and smells really neat. It was fun just walking around and talking with them. And the weather was beautiful. Sunday Rob and I went to the Universal Citywalk. We saw "King Pao" at the movie theatre there. Hrm, what to say about that film? It was scary. Kind of like a train wreck. Random, horrifying, and you can't take your eyes off of it. I really don't know if I liked it or not. Probably more towards the not. People were walking out of it during the middle. Gah. The people at the post office are morons. I sent in three address changes (two through the mail and one over the internet) before I got something saying that they would start forwarding my mail. And then the other day I found a stack of my mail sitting outside of the mailboxes. And today I got a letter from school saying that they got something sent back to them. You would think that the people at the post office would actually know how to do their jobs and forward some mail. I'm surrounded by retards. I'm going to go head off to class now. I need caffeine. And sleep. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
