2002-03-24 1:00 AM Happy Birthday To Lisa Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Happy Today rocked. Well, except for losing my wallet but I'll get to that.
Got to sleep in today and that was very nice. Still tired, but it kind of made up for the lack of weekday sleep. Lisa came over to my place around 2pm so that we could hang out and celebrate her b-day. She's now 24. Thinks she's old. Ha. I'm 27. She graduated HIGH SCHOOL when I graduated from COLLEGE. Young-un. Before we headed out Rob and I gave her a bag with gifts in it (stuffed dog, toy helicopter since she's followed around by the real ones on a regular basis, and some girly products). We then all headed out to Castaways and put a deposit down on it. Wow. I now know when and where I'm getting married. This is too cool. And weird. Weird to know the date and place where a once in a lifetime (hopefully) event like my wedding will be. After that we went to some stores and hung out for a bit. I took Lisa and Rob out to dinner at the fondue restaurant down on Ventura Blvd. Lisa seemed to really enjoy it. All in all it was a great day. Except for the fact that I left my card case with EVERYTHING (credit cards, ATM card, driver's license, car insurance card, school ID, AAA card, Ralph's card, health insurance card, Social Security card, etc.) in it there. Called them back when we got home and got an answering machine. I hope I can get it tomorrow and that everything is still in there. Such a pain in the ass. I need to go grocery shopping tomorrow and can't. No credit cards (in the case), no ATM card to get cash with (in the case) and I can't write a check anywhere (ID is in the case). So I pretty much have no funds until I get it back. I really hope I get it back tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me. But you know something, even with the whole losing my card case thing, today still was a really good day. I just hope that Lisa had a great 24th b-day! Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
