Hooray For Spare Change!
Previous Entry :: Next Entry

Mood:
Happy

Tonight was very fun. After Rob got home from work we decided to cash in our pot of spare change. It had gotten very full. We thought we'd get about 50 bucks from it. Much to our happy surprise we got $102. So we decided to treat ourselves. We went to a fantastic French restaurant that's just up on Ventura (Vie De France). We've been there before and love it, but don't go too often because it's a little on the pricey side. So we treated ourselved to the whole nine yards there. Soup (for me), a brie appetizer (for Rob), pasta (for Rob), braised lamb shank (for me), and creme brulee and tea (for both of us). It was very yummy.

We stopped by the Boba Bar afterwords and picked up some milk teas as well. It's an addiction for both of us. Milk tea (with some sort of flavoring in it - I usually get taro - tonight I got strawberry/vanilla) with boba in it is our crack.

So the night was great. And we still have some money left over. And that is going to a long needed item. A dustbuster.

Fear us for we are becoming domesticated! Instead of buying a CD or something fun with the left over money, we're buying a dustbuster. But with 2 kitty litter boxes we sorely need one.
