Hospitals suck. And so do insurance companies. A few months ago I had to go in for an MRI and an EEG because the doctors were trying to find out why my left side would go numb. I have health insurance and they're supposed to pay all of this. But they haven't paid the hospital yet and so the hospital is sending me bill after bill. Unless they can show me that it went through my health insurance there's no way I'm paying it. That's why I pay an arm and a leg to have health insurance. So I don't have to pay scary ass hospital bills. They total around a grand. Heh. Like I even have that kind of money. Especially after having to pay Uncle Sam. Blah. While I'm on the topic of what sucks, taxes suck as well.

Anyway, I'm just really annoyed and wanted to vent. The hospital and the insurance company should deal with each other and not even bother with me unless there's something that the insurance company won't cover. But harassing me to pay the hospital when it hasn't even gone through my insurance company yet is bullshit.

So, I hate hospitals. And insurance companies. Hopefully things will be a bit better when I'm on Rob's insurance plan. Couldn't be much worse. My plan is insanely expensive and total ass because I don't have a job. Gotta love being over 24 and a student. Not working and not being able to be a dependant also sucks. Blah.
