Fun Day

Mood:
Happy

Today was fun. Hence the title of this posting. Hey, what do you expect, I'm tired, my back still hurts, and it's almost 2 in the morning. I need to sleep. Blah.

Anyway, Rob and I were going to see The Scorpion King tonight (we'll probably do that tomorrow), but got sidetracked by other fun stuff. Hung out with Lisa and went to the Glendale Galleria. She and I did some clothes shopping (I got a dark red t-shirt, an orange t-shirt, a tye dyed tank top, a blue undershirt, and *gasp* a really pretty black dress - yes, a dress) and it was very cool to have Rob there to give us a guy opinion on clothing. Guys might not know a whole hell of a lot about fashion (arm goes in sleeve hole), but they do have a pretty good idea if something looks good on a woman or not. Might do some more clothes shopping later this week, almost all of my wardrobe is for the winter. I don't own too many summer clothes because I like to hide my body, but I'm getting sick of that. Especially since I'll be sweltering away in summer school soon. We also went to Sephora where I got some neat shiny purple nail polish. Much to Rob's relief, it was a quick trip in there.

Headed back to my neck of the woods and had dinner at El Torito. Yum. I love that place. The fresh made guacamole is to die for. And I introduced Rob and Lisa to fried ice cream. Neither of them had ever had it before.

Later on after Lisa left Rob and I relaxed for a bit. My back was getting worse so we watched "Night of the Demons" (he had never seen it before and I own it on video) while I had a heating pack on me. I still hurt. I really am going to have to make a Dr. appointment for my back, but when? Finals are coming up and I'm so not going to have the time. Especially if I need to be in physical therapy again. *sighs* We'll see.

Okay, so I'm going to pop some Doan's PM (maybe it will do something for my back) and get some rest.
