Yesterday was Rob's last day of jury duty. He got home before he usually would get home from work so we decided to go out last night. We headed over to Universal to grab dinner and a movie.

Grabbed dinner at Jodie Maronie's. He had never eaten there before so it was sausage time! Besides, I really miss bratwurst. It's one of those thing you find all over the Midwest, but not much out in California. *sighs* I really miss Chicago. I wish I could move back there after graduation, but I don't think that's going to happen. All of my friends are out here, plus I'll have a husband at that time as well. It's so weird. When I started law school I told myself I wouldn't date at all until after graduation. That would leave me more time for my studies and I wouldn't be super tied down to L.A., I could go to Chicago really soon after I graduated. Then, out of nowhere, the love of my life falls into my lap. Don't get me wrong, going out with Rob was the best decision I have ever made. And he's the best thing in my life. It's just weird. How you can have something all planned out and then life takes you in the opposite direction. But, I'm happier than I have ever been in my life so you won't get any complaints from me. Except for the occasional "I miss Chicago" or "I hate Los Angeles". I never in my life thought I would find my true love. The plan was to never marry. Heh. Shows you not to plan your life out too much cause life might just throw you a curve ball.

Anyway, back to the events of last night. After dinner we went to see Scooby Doo. Not a bad film. Kind of cheesy, but what do you expect from Scooby Doo? If you've watched a lot of the TV shows (especially the ones with Scrappy in them) then I would recommend seeing the movie. If not, then you probably will think it's lame and not catch a lot of the jokes. Matthew Lillard did an /amazing/ job as Shaggy. He got the voice and body movements down perfectly. Linda Cardellini did a pretty good job as Velma. Not perfect, but probably the best a person could do with that character. I have to say that I was very disappointed in the performances of Sarah Michelle Gellar (Daphne) and Freddie Prinze Jr (Fred). They really kind of sucked. And the weird thing was, they was no on screen chemistry between them. Which blew me away considering that they're together in real life. But all in all the movie was enjoyable and I'm glad I saw it.

Rob and I grabbed some drinks at the Boba Bar on the way home. He recently introduced me to Thai Iced Tea and I love it! Sorry Berek, it really is better than Chai. I think when I go there the next few times I might ask for the drinks without the boba. I love their teas, but recently the boba has been messing with my stomach big time.

When we got home we played around with the PS2 for awhile. That machine is so addictive. But it still hasn't started interfering with my school work. I won't let it.

Okay, well this has gotten a bit long winded so I think I'll end this entry and get back to the laundry. Bleh.
