Tom Cruise Is Yummy

I got to see "Minority Report" the other night. Very good movie. I've never read the short story by Phillip Dick, but now I need to track it down. Though I have no idea when I'll have the time to read it. I /just/ finished a book that I started reading over a year ago. That should tell you a little about just how much time I have for myself these days.

Anyway, I really liked the movie. And it's not just because Tom Cruise is a hottie. Though his being easy on the eyes did help me stay put in a very warm theatre for two and a half hours. The plot was very cool (though a bit predictible) and the effects were amazing. The whole movie had a very "Bladerunner" feel to it. And the whole eye scanning thing was creepy enough to send a shiver down my spine. All in all I was very happy with the movie and it was worth the price of the ticket. I highly recommend it to anyone into sci-fi or action flicks.

Looking at some of my previous posts I'm realizing that there's a whole lot of quiz posting and not much writing going on. Sorry about that, but there's really not much to write about. I'm either at school and in class or at home reading and for class or doing laundry or cleaning the apartment a bit. I have no life. Besides, I get bored while I'm at school and it's fun to quiz whore. And who knows, maybe they'll reveal some things to you about me.

On the bright side of things, the kitty prosac seems to be working on Amber. She hasn't peed outside of the litter box in the last week. Well, she might have, but if she has I haven't noticed it. If these pills keep working we'll be able to keep her. I'm still never letting her into the bedroom though. No matter how good she ends up behaving, I'll always have some serious trust issues with her being in the bedroom. But that would probably be a normal reaction considering the fact that she peed on me while I was sleeping in the bed. And it wasn't like it was an accident or something. She climbed on the bed, squatted, peed on me, and then ran like hell. So, we'll see if the meds keep working on her. I love her and I'd like to keep her so I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this. Besides, she and Rob are very close and it's kind of nice to see him attached to an animal. Especially since he's the kind of person who usually thinks of cats as just being animals and I think of them (well, Sydney at least) as having the status of a child.

Well, it's about time for me to head down to class. I need to grab a bottle of water before class starts (3 hours - ugh) at the bookstore so I'm going to end this babbling for now.
