2002-09-21 9:53 PM Hair, Movie, and Pie (Oh My!) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Content Rob and I got up semi-early this morning (early for a weekend anyway) and headed out to Montclair. I was there for a hair appointment. I got my hair dyed (same color it's been for the past two years - dark reddish brown) and got it cut. I really didn't like the choppy cut so I wanted the bottom layer chopped off. Now I think I might be able to wear it normal again. If not I'll keep floofing it and wait until it grows more. Eventually, I'd like it to even out and grow a bit - maybe be a bit below the shoulders. But that will take years to happen. My hair grows very slowly. Right now it's about chin length. I'm considering changing colors the next time I go in. Unfortunately, the process will take around 8 hours. Which means I'd have to be there around 8am and leave around 4pm. And with the drive that means leaving here around 6am - on a Saturday. Ugh. I'm considering going either my natural color (an ash blonde) or strawberry blonde. Thoughts? I'd appreciate them - drop me an e-mail. Just click on the "Email Me" link to your left. After getting my hair done Rob and I stopped at a movie theatre in the nearby town of La Verne and saw "Trapped". Not a bad movie at all. It's not a favorite or one I'll be buying on DVD when it comes out, but it was definitely good. Check it out if you get the chance. Then we headed over to Baker's Square for dinner. Their food is always so-so, but their pie is incredible. I got the french silk and Rob got coconut cream. Yum! I love that place. One of these days I need to just bring a whole pie home. Of course, that would mean I couldn't eat anything for the next week or so to make up for it, but it might just be worth it. Now we're back at home and settling in for the night. A bit of stuff on line, maybe watch some TV, and then catch up on our sleep. All in all, a pretty good day. Not looking forward to tomorrow though. I have so much reading to get done for Monday and I have to start planning out my opening argument. I can't do too much work on it until Monday when Prof. Caldwell teaches us how to do it, but I can look over the case a bit. A quick "Sex and the City" quiz. I don't really watch the show too much. Any of you fans out there think this fits?
