So, looks like I have some catching up to do. I didn't have the time to post on Friday night, and last night when I was going to post, my computer wouldn't let me access JournalScape. Blah.

Friday night Berek, Rob, and I went to go see a midnight showing of Ferris Bueller's Day Off at the Nuart. It was fun and it was nice to see it on the big screen again. By the end of Friday, I had finished writing my opening statement.

On Saturday, the three of us went down to the Buena Park area. There's a Halloween store just off the 5 freeway that's /huge/ and has some really good prices. We looked around there for awhile, but none of us got a costume yet. I'm thinking about waiting and seeing what Torrid gets in. I'm sick of wearing something lame like ears and a tail just cause they don't make full on costumes that fit me. However, it looks like Torrid might get some cool ones in, but they don't come in until around October 10. So, I might order one through their website and pray it fits. After the Halloween store we headed to Medieval Times. Berek's birthday isn't until October 7, but next weekend when he's doing Disneyland for his b-day I'm going dress shopping with Mindy and Lisa for their bridesmaid dresses. So, we decided to celebrate Berek's b-day a week early and Rob and I took him to Medieval Times. This time we were in the section that was rooting for the red and yellow knight. It was a blast and we headed to Brea when the show got out to get Berek some b-day ice cream at the Cold Stone Creamery. And then we headed back to the Valley and Berek dropped Rob and I off at home.

Today has been very low key. I've been trying to memorize my opening statement, but my brain has been wandering. I just can't concentrate. So, I'll get what I can done tonight, and then work on it some more tomorrow. At least I have some time before class. I have to be at school around 8am in order to find parking, and my class doesn't start until 1:30pm.

Rob and I also made a quick run out to a local mall so I could pick up one more suit. I have to be in a suit again tomorrow and having another one on hand couldn't hurt.

So - I should probably head off and force myself to memorize another few pages of my opening statement so that I don't totally flop tomorrow.
