My opening statement kicked so much ass! I am so happy!!!

In class, after you present, Professor Caldwell calls on a few students and has them say one good thing about how you did and then one bad thing about how you did. He then says a few of the good things and rips into you about what you need to do better the next time around.

I was nervous going up there today, but I managed to remember pretty much everything and I thought I did a decent job. When he called on the students to critique me they said many good things, but none of them could think of a negative thing to comment on. And then Caldwell went into the things he liked. He picked my opening statement apart and said all of the things he liked. And he also said he couldn't think of a negative thing. I was stunned. I thought I had did well, but I didn't know how much ass I had kicked.

That was so cool. I'm nervous about public speaking and don't like it very much, and I so needed that confidence boost. Everyone else had negative things said about their presentation. Wow. Today kicked so much ass.
