Purty Dresses

Generally Happy, But Pissed Off At Apartment # 514

So, today was pretty good (except for the end, but I'll get to that later). Lisa and Mindy came over around noon and we headed over to a big new strip mall in Burbank. We ate lunch at Wendy's and then went to David's Bridal.

Lisa and Mindy tried on many a dress until we found a really cool one. For some reason, none of us really like the "tux dress" that we had all liked before. It came down to two dresses at the end - a fancy dark purple one and a sleek black one. Mindy LOVED the purple one, but Lisa HATED it. Lisa LOVED the black one, and Mindy could take or leave it (it made her feel fat - she's a size 6). They both looked amazing, but Rob and I leaned a little more to the black one. So Mindy ordered one (the size 6 they had there had some scuffs on it) and Lisa bought hers. They told Lisa she could exchange it for a smaller size if she kept losing weight (that girl is amazing, she just keeps getting thinner and thinner - I am SO jealous!!!). Now all we have to do is tell Rob's sisters which style to get and we'll have the bridesmaid dresses taken care of. Well, until they need final alterations before the wedding that is.

After the bridal store we headed to the Boba bar near my house to get some drinks. I also made a run into a GNC store to get some apple cider vinegar pills. I heard a rumor that they help with weight loss when the weight is from being on steroids medications. I'm crossing my fingers on this one!

After Boba we all headed back to my place and Lisa took off. So Rob, Mindy, and I headed over to the Burbank Media Center for the night. We checked out some stores and I got a zip up hoodie sweater. It's really cool looking - dark red with a stripe across the front (yes Lisa, it's the same style as your dark green one). We grabbed dinner at the mall food court and then saw Sweet Home Alabama. Really not a bad movie, though Mindy and I were annoyed by the ending. She so went with the wrong guy. What girl in their right mind would pick a hick over the son of the mayor of New York? *le sigh* Oh, and if you haven't seen the film, don't be pissed for my revealing the ending - it was SO obvious. Lame ass Hollywood endings. Please!

So - now the suck part of the day. We all get home from the movies, only to find out that I have nowhere to park. Some asshole parked in my RESERVED ASSIGNED RESIDENT parking spot. I was so unbelievably pissed off. And I knew whose guest it was. The asshole who parks next to me keeps parking halfway in my spot - so I knew it was him. Rob got the security guard and he checked the guy who parks next to me and sure enough it was one of his guests. The security guard was really cool about the whole thing and it was only about twenty minutes before I could park. But that really was twenty minutes too long. The guy next to me is a fucking asshole. I'm going to talk to the building manager tomorrow and let him know what's going on. I'd give anything if I could get him kicked out of here. *sigh* I so wish his guest would have been towed. Maybe they would have learned not to park in a spot that belongs to someone else. Christ, Rob and I pay $2,100 a month in rent, you think I could have my own damn parking spot open when I get home. Can I shoot someone now? Like the guy in 514 and his mother-fucking-asshole-son-of-a-bitch-cocksucking-bastard-asshole-douche-bag-camel-humping-ass-licking-shit-head friends?
