2002-12-08 2:34 AM A Much Needed Break Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Still Sick Read/Post Comments (0) God-damn-mother-fucking-cock-sucking-donkey-raping-piece-of-shit-iMac!!! I had just written most of an entry and then the piece of shit computer crashed on me. I swear, one of these days I'm going to roof test this thing. Anyway, I'm still sick and crap is building up in my lungs. It's hard to breathe and it's looking like I'll still be sick on Monday. I'm a little scared to see how I do in finals if I'm still this sick. This is so not a good thing. Today was more studying. Rob took Amber to the vet for her yearly check up today while I worked on my Communications Law outline. She got her shot and seems to be in good health (which is more than I can say for Sydney who is still currently ripping his fur out - I wish there was something I could do to get him to stop, I really hate seeing him like this). And tonight I took a much needed break. It was much needed because the only time I've gone outside of the apartment since dinner last Monday night was for a few hours on Thursday when Berek took me to Claudine's for my dress fitting. So, Rob and I headed over to Citywalk and saw the new James Bond film Die Another Day. It wasn't as bad as my friend Chris told me it was, but it wasn't one of the better Bond films either. I went into the movie knowing that it wasn't going to be all too great and at least that perspective kept me from coming out disappointed. Why did I see it then you might wonder - well, it's a Bond film, therefore I had to see it. Madonna's song sucked and didn't fit in with the other Bond opening songs and the blue screen effects were horrible. However, the film is worth seeing if you've seen the other Bond films because almost every action sequence is taken from an older Bond film and a lot of the gadgets seen in this one are also from the older films. Looks like they put in a lot of things for the true Bond fans because this is the anniversary of the series. Anyway, if you like Bond go and see it but don't get your hopes up. After the film we headed back to the apartment and I did some more outlining. Rob baked me some cookies so I'm going to head off and munch on them. ----------
