I don't know what the hell is up with me right now. I've been so incredibly thirsty tonight. I recently drank two bottles of water and am now on a Mr. Green soda. My tummy is all sloshy but my mouth is still dry. This sucks.

This morning I woke up to find out that Sydney has something wrong with him. He keeps looking like he has something stuck in his throat. Rob called the vet and tried to get us an appointment for after the wedding shower. Unfortunately the soonest they can see him is Monday evening. I really hope he's all right and I hope he's okay until then. We have him eating soft food so that the crunchies don't hurt his throat.

Well, today was the wedding shower for Rob and I. I was surprised at how many people were able to make it. Mindy organized it with the help of my aunt Jean. Those present were Mindy, my aunt Jean, my uncle Roy, my Mom, Rob, Flor, Kyle, Chris, Berek, Kat, Lisa, Nick, Chuck, and Marc. I really hope I listed everyone here. Sorry if I missed someone, it's late! It was so good to be able to see everyone. I don't get to spend nearly enough time with my friends anymore. And I nearly crapped myself when I saw that Marc showed up. I was so happy to be able to spend an afternoon with my closest friends. Rob and I got a lot of gifts and Mindy had games for everyone to play. We had the shower at Miceli's on Ventura Blvd. Miceli's is such a cool place. The original place we were going to hold the shower (Vitello's) reneged on Mindy when she was making the final plans for everything and were way rude to her. This place was so sweet to her and was even willing to open the restaurant early for us! How cool is that? All in all the shower was a success. Rob and I had a fantastic time and we're both in a little bit of shock. We had our wedding shower. It makes this whole marriage thing all the more real. We're getting more and more jazzed about it. I can't wait to marry him!

To all of you who were able to come to our shower - THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! It really meant a lot to both Rob and myself.

After the shower we came home and relaxed for a bit. Then my Mom, Rob, and I headed over to the Media City Center in Burbank. While there we did a bit of shopping and I was able to get Rob his Christmas gift. I got him a black leather jacket. I think he likes it. We then ate dinner at Johnny Rockets because they were able to shake their "C" rating and now have a "B". None of us is feeling sick from the food so I guess a "B" restaurant is all good. After dinner we saw Maid In Manhattan in the theatre that's in the mall. It was cute. Nothing amazing, but it was one of those feel good movies.

Now we're back at home and chilling out a bit. We should probably get to sleep sometime soon because if we can get our butts out of bed the three of us want to go to Dim Sum tomorrow morning.
