2003-06-23 12:10 PM Work and Laundry Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Busy Read/Post Comments (0) Yesterday was pretty cool. Rob and I lounged around for most of the day and I decided to postpone my homework and get it all done today. Rob and I spent a good part of the day in bed. Later on we gave Berek a call and decided to meet up with him. We ended up going out at night with Berek and his flame Pita. We went to a store for a bit and looked around. Got some stuff there. Yeah, I'm being vague on purpose. Then we were going to head over to the 24 hour IHOP on Sunset. They were open, but had no cook or cashier. Um ... yeah. So, we ended up heading back to the Valley and grabbed some dinner at Denny's. Berek dropped Rob and I off at home a little after 10pm. Rob and I then decided to pop a really good bottle of wine that we had bought during our honeymoon in Solvang. It's scary how my alcohol tolerance has changed during law school. I had half a bottle of wine and didn't even feel tipsy. The only difference was that I started getting a bit on the warm side. Today, is all about the work. I didn't have bar review today (yay!) but I do have a lot of work to get done. This morning I worked on the Contracts essay that I should have done yesterday. This afternoon I have 100 multiple choice questions to do and then review. I feel like I'm beginning to burn out on all of this. I NEED to force myself to trudge through. Only about 5 weeks left until the bar. No time to start slacking off now! I'm also spending my day doing a ton of laundry. 2 people, 1 week, 10 loads of laundry. I just don't get it. Even though today is spent studying and doing laundry I'm still savoring this day at home. Tomorrow I start the non-stop part of bar review where my only day off will be the 4th of July. Yes kiddies, this means I'm now there on Saturdays and Sundays as well. Prepare for me to begin begging for death. Again. ----------
