Yesterday had a very deja vu feeling to it. But that could have been because it was a lot like Saturday night.

Berek and Pita came over once they were done with work. They got here a little before 6pm. They brought with them an anniversary present for Rob (The Manual of the Planes for D&D), which once again they did not have to do. We hung out at our place for a bit and then decided to make another run to the Game Zone in Pasadena. Ah, going to a gaming store two nights in a row - we are truely a band of merry geeks. I picked up a stuffed ice dragon (and got one for Pita as an early birthday present) that looks really cool. Toy Vault makes some of the coolest plushies I have ever seen.

After the store we all headed to Coco's for dinner. The last time I have been to a Coco's was back in high school when I was visiting relatives in Wisconsin. It was a lot better than I remembered it. The food and the company were both excellent and we all had a blast there. I think I broke Pita a few times with some bad jokes and Rob ended up with a piece of coconut in his sinus from laughing too hard. I guess cracking jokes while someone is eating coconut cream pie is not the coolest thing in the world (though it is funny for the onlookers). We probably annoyed everyone around us with our laughter and sillyness, but no one complained and I think we all had a blast. I have a feeling that Pita now truely realizes that my insanity knows no bounds.

Once again, I woke up this morning in severe pain. My neck keeps hurting like hell and I can't move it without being in severe agony. I have no idea what is causing this. The pillows couldn't have started sucking in this short of a time, and it doesn't seem as if I'm sleeping in any different positions than usual. I just can't figure out what's causing my neck pains. Luckily, an Alieve and a warm shower will usually help it out a bit. I'm not sure if there's some sort of knot or problem with my muscles, or if I have a pinched nerve. Either way, it hurts like hell and sleeping makes it worse. I really wish I could find out what the hell is going on so I could try and do something to make it better. Also, oddly enough it's not the area of the neck that usually tenses up in people - the area that is hurting is the area of my neck that's right up by the base of my skull - right around my hair line. Ugh.

Today is Rob's and my 6 month anniversary. We've been married for half of a year. I know it might not seem like a long time, but being married for half a year is a little weird - in a cool sort of way. It also doesn't seem that long. We're going to go out tonight to a nice dinner so I should probably head off of the computer and jump into the shower.
