This morning Rob and I got up and hopped into the car soon after getting ready. We headed out to Montclair (luckily the 210 was open most of the way) for my hair appointment. We got there *right* on time (my appointment was at 1pm and I believe we walked in at 12:59pm). We brought in some wonderful Chinese food (all appetizers) and ate that for lunch while my hair was being done. I had my both my roots and my highlights touched up, so the appointment took a while. Rob got his hair cut.

If we had gotten out of there earlier we were going to call Lisa and see if her bridal shower was still going on, but we didn't get out of there until around 5:30pm. So, once the appointment was over with we headed over to the local mall for a bit. I picked up a zip up black sweater that will be good to take with me on trips to Disneyland. I wanted to find something that looked cool, was in black (so it would go with anything I was wearing), and that was specifically for something like Disneyland so I didn't ruin a sweater that I really like. After finding a cute black sweater (sans hood this time) we headed out of the mall.

By then it was time for dinner and we headed to Long John Silver's. Yum. I swear, they must put crack in their batter. That stuff is sooooo good and makes us want to come back for more. Unfortunately I think the closest ones to us is that one in Montclair and one out in Torrance. After yummy fish and chicken planks (I'm allergic to SHELLFISH, not regular fish) we headed home. The 210 was pretty jammed up so it took us a while to get home. Because we were getting home a bit earlier than usual we decided to give Berek and Pita a call and see what they were up to. They were free and so we made plans to hang out at around 10pm (after Berek got off of work and picked his woman up).

Berek and Pita got here around 10pm as planned and we headed out to Hollywood. Our first stop was the Virgin Megastore on Sunset. I picked up *a lot* of things there. Pita informed me that the Sleeping Beauty DVD was going to be pulled soon so we looked for that. I didn't see any copies anywhere so Rob asked about it. Apparently the film had already been pulled, but they had a few in back and were nice and gave us a copy. Soooo cool! I also picked up a few CDs. Two older ones of David Bowie's, a Greatest Hits album of Shirley Bassey, and something called "The Rocky Horror Punk Rock Show" which is all the RHPS songs sung by punk rock bands.

After the Virgin store we headed down Sunset to Hustler Hollywood. I think we're the only group which goes to a porn store and buys mundane items. Berek got a bunch of buttons for his scary jacket and I picked up a red patent leather wristlet with a black star on it. We then hit the cafe in the store and had drinks (smoothies and italian sodas) and pastries (bagels and I think Rob got a cinnamon jammy thing).

When we were finished up there we headed home. Sunset was jam packed so we took Santa Monica back most of the way and played "Hooker Tag" aka "Spot the Hooker" along the way. Not many hookers out tonight. Tsk-tsk. Berek and Pita dropped us off out front and Rob and I came up here. Oddly enough we're not super tired yet so we decided to log on and mess around on here for awhile. Yes, we probably will play a little bit of Neopets before bed. And yes, I am serious when I say a little bit. We do need to get some sleep if we want to do anything other than sleep tomorrow.

As a side note, I found out today that I need to get a new cell phone. *grumbles* I *like* my owl phone and don't really need another expense. However, whenever I charge it or use it the thing heats up something fierce. It's an old phone and it's probably time to get a new one anyway. So, later this week I'll probably head over to the AT&T store and see what deals they have going.
