Well, I hate to jinx things, but it looks as if our computer problems might have been solved. The people at Sony (while very nice and helpful) really didn't know what to do. They talked us through a whole bunch of solutions which did nothing. They then wanted us to do a complete system restore. Well, this computer might only be two months old, but in those two months Rob and I have put a lot of things onto it. And I didn't want to do a system restore. It seemed like trying to kill a cockroach with a cannon. Sure, you get rid of the problem, but you also lose everything else in the process. Rob also talked to Earthlink on the phone. They weren't sure what to do at all. They recommended a patch for Internet Explorer, but for some reason after four and a half hours of downloading, it didn't work right. So, who solved the computer problem? I did. That's right me. One of the most technologically retarded people on the face of this planet. I was messing around with Norton and found out that when Norton was down, everything worked. Unfortunately, with the recent attacks on our computer we need Norton up. So I played with it and found out that if you turn the ad blocker off everything seems to work. Of course, now that I've said that I'm sure this whole thing will break and smoke will start to come out of it, but for now, it looks like I might have fixed the problem. So, I guess if you ever have a computer problem you can fix it by giving it to a drooling monkey or someone who has no clue how these things work. Too weird.

Now that the computer seems to be working I can once again use my job hunting web pages. Yay! I've found one that doesn't require any experience (though they want you to hit the ground running) in a field I'm interested in (criminal defense) and so I'll be dropping them a resume either tomorrow or this weekend.

Not much has been going on around here. Last night Rob and I stayed in and watched TV (Smallville and Angel - damn Angel was good). We ordered in pizza and something about it didn't agree with me. I spent most of the evening running back and forth between the bed and the bathroom being horribly sick. Tonight we stayed in and watched more TV (Survivor and The Apprentice). We ordered in Chinese food and I'm starting to get one hell of a headache. I am so sick of getting these migraines all the time. *grumbles*

I was talking on the phone with my Mom tonight and she mentioned that NBC was accepting resumes for a second version of The Apprentice. I think I'll have to throw my hat in the ring. I could probably do fairly well on that show. Something like Survivor on the other hand would probably kill me.

That's pretty much all the news on this end. I'm going to try and get those "5 Questions" from a few other people (like those that I gave questions to) so be on the look out for more hopefully rather soon.
