Yesterday morning I had to crawl out of bed at 7am in order to move my car. They were pressure washing the garage and so my car needed to be out on the street all day. Ugh. I'll have to do this again on Friday because they're re-striping the garage and will tow anyone who doesn't move their car. Bastards.

Yesterday Rob wasn't feeling very well at work and so he took off around noon. Needless to say he got home pretty early from work and so we spent most of the afternoon in bed cuddling.

Mindy came over around 7pm and we hung out around the apartment for about a half hour and then headed out to dinner at Benihana.

This dinner has been a year in the making. I wanted to take Mindy out as a thank you for being the maid of honor in my wedding and doing such a kick ass job, but our schedules kept conflicting. Finally we were able to set something up for last night.

Mindy had never been to Benihana and I think she liked it. We all enjoyed ourselves, but the night would have been a wee bit better had it not been for an extremely obnoxious drunk guy at our table who kept hitting on Mindy and even tried to get her to kiss him. Other than the creepy drunk guy, dinner went well. We talked a lot, caught up on things, and just had a lot of fun in general. After dinner we headed back to our place and Mindy hung out for a little bit. She headed out a bit after 10pm because she needed to head home and finish packing. Today she's headed to Texas for a week to visit her friends. She's probably in the airport waiting to board her plane as I type this.

When Mindy left Rob and I chilled out and watched some TV (tail end of the news and Adult Swim) and then went to sleep.

On a completely unrelated note, you might notice some of my links disappearing. I've decided that if someone doesn't post for a prolonged period of time (around 2-3 months or so) that their link is going down until they actually do post. Nothing against you lazy posters out there, but if a journal is going to be stagnant I'm gonna take the link down. Just a heads up.
