Ugh. I hate my cell phone. If you're in the market for a new cell, DO NOT get a Motorola. They're crap. I so should have stuck with Nokia.

The phone I had before this one was a Nokia and it lasted me three years. It worked very well and unless my reception was low I could hear people very clearly. Last February I had to get a new one because it would heat up (and get very hot) when I used it. But three years is a good long time for a cell phone to function.

I got this piece of shit Motorola one back in February. I also had to sign a two year contract with AT&T to get a discount on it. Blech. I wish I didn't do that. Once my contract is up I'm switching companies. Ever since AT&T tried to sell their service to Cingular things have gone downhill. Anyway, this phone is a complete piece of shit. I rarely, if ever, get my voice mails on it. And even when I'm in areas with full reception I can barely hear the other person because all it does is crackle. Reception means nothing on my phone. It doesn't matter if I'm at one bar or full - the phone still crackles and cuts in and out. The thing that irks me the most is the fact that I'm stuck with this for another year and a half. Unless I want to sign an even longer contract with AT&T (and I won't because as soon as this two year contract is over with I'm switching to another carrier), I won't get a discount on a new working phone. And phones without that discount are very expensive.

I hate this phone and I don't like the service much either. I would very much like to switch companies (but I can't without paying an $800 early termination of contract fee) sometime before February 2006. I would also like a nice phone that works before then. But, it doesn't look like I'll be getting either. *grumble-sigh*
