2004-08-22 2:43 AM Sold Out From Under Me Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Seething Read/Post Comments (2) I am so pissed off at the people at LensCrafters, it's not even funny. How can you not follow simple instructions? A week and a half ago I went in and ordered a pair of frames (the same style as my old ones, except in blue). They were being sent from the store in Iowa to the store in Glendale. While at the store in Glendale I found another color of the same style (this one was a tortiose shell color). I asked for them to hold those on the side until the ones came in from Iowa. That way I could try both on and see which ones I wanted to buy. They told me they could do that. Simple, right? Wrong. What they didn't tell me is that they can't hold them past a few days. So - a few days passed and the frames hadn't come in from Iowa yet. So, they put the tortoise shell ones back on the shelf and sold them to someone else even though they had promised to hold onto them for me. The ones from Iowa? They don't know where they are. They're pretty sure that they would have received them by now, but they don't know if they still have them. My bet is that they sold those ones out from under me as well. I am livid. That style of frames are the only ones I can find that don't give me a severe headache when I wear them. The other new ones I got recently give me a very bad headache if I wear them for more than an hour or two. All I wanted was this style of frame (because it's what my old ones are and I know that they don't give me any problems and are very comfy). No LensCrafters can order them in because they no longer work with Armani. So, essentially, this place screwed me over. Not only do I not have the ones they specifically told me that they would hold for me, but I also don't have the ones that the Iowa place specifically sent to them for me. Seriously, how hard of a concept is it to call me when they come in so that I can be the one to buy them since I'm the one who ordered them? I've looked all around online and can't find a single pair of these frames. If anyone out there knows where to pick one up please, please, please leave a comment or send me an e-mail and let me know where I can find them. The frames are by Giorgio Armani. The style number is 242. The size the frames need to be is 48 20 135. Help? While we were at the mall we exchanged the pink Coach collar that we got for Amber for a smaller size. It fits her very well and she seems to like it. After the mall we headed to Bennigan's for dinner and then we headed home. At least tomorrow should put me in a somewhat better mood. Berek, Pita, Rob, and I have tickets to a dinner and show at Medieval Times. ----------
