Last night Rob and I headed out for pedicures. I ended up getting my toes painted a very dark brown. While my toe polish was drying, we were trying to figure out what we wanted to do for dinner. So, he decided to call our local KFC to see if they had in what we wanted. Mistake. Big mistake. Apparently Rob is now also a moron magnet over the phone. Wow. The guy at KFC had absolutely no idea what a chicken strip was. And he worked in a chicken restaurant!!! This guy deserves his Scarlet S. Big time. So, onto the big news that I had eluded to last week. I can now post about it because both Berek and Pita have put it up in their journals. Berek proposed to Pita last Friday. The two of them brought dessert for the game - little penis shaped cupcakes. Berek and I told Pita to stay out of the kitchen because we wanted to make one a birthday cockcake for her. We decorated it, put some candles in it, and put the ring in it. Berek walked it out to her while we were all singing Happy Birthday. He then got down on one knee, presented the cake to her, and asked her to marry him. She said yes. I am so happy for both of them. They truly are perfect together. Pita, you're a very lucky girl - Berek is an amazing catch. I wish both of you the best and now I can publically give you congrats on your engagement. Woot!

I have some news on my tattoo as well. Both good and bad news. The tattoo itself is healing up nicely. It looks like I'm not having any reactions to the tattoo this time. The tape that was put on me to hold the bandage on is another story though. I specifically used hypoallergenic non-irritating (it says so on the package) paper tape for the bandage. And still, I had a nasty reaction to it. For awhile I had a rash, but that's gone now. Now I have these weird scar like marks exactly where the tape was. They're dry, itchy, painful, and look like scarring. All of this from non-irritating hypoallergenic tape. Needless to say, I'm rather pissed off about that.
