Yesterday morning I let the cats in the bedroom with me. Well, that was a huge mistake. Our girl cat, Amber, is a bit on the... fluffy side (for those of you who have never met Amber, she gets offended if we call her fat - so she's fluffy). In fact, she's gotten so fluffy that she can no longer clean all of herself. To put it bluntly, she can't reach around to clean her ass anymore. What I didn't know, when I let the cats in the bedroom, was that earlier in the morning Amber had a bad case of the runs. And since she can't clean herself it was all over her backside and legs. She came up onto the bed like this. I got to wake up to cat feces smeared all over the bed, pillows, and my hair. I have to say, that was one of the most disgusting experiences of my life.

So, I got to spend a good part of the day yesterday cleaning up the bed. The one place she didn't get it all over was our comforter. There was only one small spot on there, which is a good thing because our comforter is dry clean only. And the dry cleaning place said they couldn't get it back to us until Friday. It's been pretty cold out here recently I didn't want to wait until Friday to have a warm blanket over me in bed. So, I washed the sheets, pillowcases, myself, etc. When Rob got home from work he helped me work on the spot on the comforter. The good news is that we cleaned up the spot very well. The bad news is that there is a reason the comforter is dry clean only and we now have a water stain there. Oh well, it's only a small portion and at least it's clean.

Last night after cleaning the comforter Rob and I headed out to Burbank. We had dinner at Tony Roma's and then saw a 7:50 showing of Seed of Chucky. That was one deranged movie. It was horrible, but I liked it nonetheless. What can I say, I like bad movies. But wow, it was deranged. I'd only recommend it if you're in the mood for something very weird and very wrong, and then only if you like bad horror movies. After the movie we made a brief stop at the ATM and then headed home.
