Hey Lisa, remember years ago when you did that rain dance for Pepperdine? I think it's finally kicking in this year. Only instead of hitting Pepperdine it's hitting all of Southern California.

Gah. It's disgusting out here. Rain so hard I can't see the street, wind so bad the rain is going sideways, tornado watches and warnings, thunder and lightening, etc. This just isn't normal for these parts. There's also flooding galore. Just yesterday the 101 between where I live and downtown LA had a flash flood. A guy being interviewed on the news who was caught in it said he swam from his car to safety. You should NEVER have to swim away from your car on a freeway.

So, Rob and I are spending these nights staying inside the house and cooking dinner. We'd like to head out and see a movie or something, but we don't have a boat and even my SUV can't handle the roads out there. I think soon it will be time to build an arc. And hey, we have a male and a female cat to put on it!
