Tonight (Friday) Rob and I headed to Santa Monica because the rain eased up a bit. Our first stop was the mall. I am never shopping at that mall again or spending any money at any of their stores. There was not one place where I could look at clothing. No plus size stores, and the two department stores there (Macys and Robinsons May) had no plus size departments. Anyone over a size 14 would not be able to buy a single article of clothing anywhere in that mall. That's way not cool. I'm now boycotting that mall. If you're appalled at this as well, please go to other malls and do not spend money there anymore.

We went to dinner at Buca because we were craving their pizza. I had a bad day in general and by this time was in a foul mood. Three Parrot Bay and Coke's later I was feeling much better. We were quoted a 50 minute wait, but in reality it was only around 15 minutes. That was a nice surprise. Dinner was great and for desert we stopped in Cafe Crepe for some dessert crepes (we had tried going to this place for dinner earlier in the night, but left because the wait staff there was rather rude about my weight - part of the reason I was in a foul mood before my drinks). We got the crepes to go becasue of the problems we had there earlier.

After dessert we headed back home. As some of you know, I've wanted a bunny for awhile now. My Mom and Rob both think this is a bad idea. So, on my honeymoon I got the idea that if a god gave me a bunny then I could keep it. No one could tell me not to keep a God Bunny. This has become a running joke ever since. Well, tonight there was a snail on our balcony trying to get into the apartment. Amber was kind enough to show us this by meowing incessantly. We brought it in and I so wanted to keep it as a pet. I love snails. I joked that this was my "God Snail" since it was trying to come into our apartment on its own. We were going to head to the store to buy a place to have it live in and some lettuce for it to eat, but I couldn't do it. I felt really bad about taking him from outside and having him live his life out in a plastic cage. I so wanted to keep him. I did the right thing though and had Rob put him somewhere safe outside in the front garden of our building. I wish I could have kept him, but I just couldn't take something and put it into captivity. *sigh* I want my God Bunny now.
