Two Year Anniversary

Yesterday was my two year wedding anniversary. I'm still amazed that I've now been married for over two years. During the day, things went as normal. Rob had worked and I did laundry, some cleaning, and job hunting (which is still coming along rather poorly - if anyone knows of any openings or can help in any way please let me know).

When he got home from work we headed to La Fondue for dinner. It's our favorite restaurant and it's great to go to because it gives you time to just sit and talk and isn't loud at all. Just peaceful and nice. With amazing food I might add. Dinner was wonderful. Rob was happy because the waiter that used to be rude to him and flirt with me wasn't there. Either it was one of his night's off, or he's not working there anymore. I tend to think it might be that he's not working there anymore since he also wasn't there on the night we went with Shannon last month. As amusing as all that was, I'm also glad he wasn't there. I think flirting with someone's wife on their wedding anniversary is grounds for being poked in the eye with a hot fondue fork.

After dinner we weren't ready to head home so we made a run out to The Game Zone in Pasadena and looked around there for awhile. I've been trying to find a miniature (even a lead one that needs to be painted) for my character (Krynn) in Rob's D&D game, but have yet to find one that works. Still no luck last night. I'm looking for a female fiend with wings and horns. The only ones we find that are at all like that are usually Succubi, which means they're naked and have their boobs hanging out. Not even close to my character who is fully clothed and wearing a chain shirt.

After the game store we headed to Hollywood and made a stop at The Pig for drinks. Rob had an iced Thai tea and I went with an iced Chai tea. We hung out in the back room for a bit and then headed home. All in all, it was a great anniversary.
